In Loving Memory of
Danielle Haggerty
Danielle was a beautiful, vibrant soul whose presence brought warmth, laughter and happiness to everyone fortunate enough to know her. She was the kind of person who could light up a room the moment she walked into it. With her infectious smile, bubbly personality and caring nature, Danielle had a gift for making people feel loved, valued and welcomed.
Born with a natural charisma, Danielle was someone people were drawn to. She was funny, outgoing and full of life, always putting others before herself and never hesitating to help someone in need. She had an extraordinary ability to make friends wherever she went and a heart big enough to care for everyone around her.
To her family, Danielle was everything. She was a much-loved daughter and a devoted sister whose love and loyalty never faltered. She was also a proud and caring auntie who adored spending time with her nieces and nephews, creating memories they will cherish forever. Her family was at the centre of her world, and the bond she shared with them remains unbroken despite her absence.
On 13 March 2023, Danielle's life was tragically taken at the age of 33. The loss of such a vibrant, caring and much-loved woman left an unimaginable void in the lives of those who loved her. While nothing can replace the daughter, sister, auntie and friend they lost, Danielle's spirit continues to live on through the countless memories she created and the love she gave so freely.
Even in death, Danielle's kindness continued. Through the gift of organ donation, she saved three lives, giving other families hope at a time when her own family was experiencing unimaginable heartbreak. It was a final act of generosity that perfectly reflected the selfless person she was.
Danielle's legacy extends far beyond her own life. Her story has inspired the campaign for Danielle's Law, a movement dedicated to protecting vulnerable people and ensuring that opportunities to prevent tragedy are never ignored. Through this campaign, her voice continues to be heard, and her memory continues to inspire change.
Those who knew Danielle will remember her laughter, her compassion, her strength and her ability to make ordinary moments special. She will never be defined by how she died, but by how she lived, how she loved and the lasting impact she had on so many lives.
